Merida, October 31, 2017 – Maeva Investments is pleased to welcome Nicolas Forget as Managing Director. Nicolas is an investment banker with more thank 25 years of experience working in London, New York, Singapore, Tokyo and Montreal.

At Maeva Investments, he will lead the finance and structuring team where he will use his extensive experience to arrange, structure and finance Latin American energy projects.

For more than a decade, Nicolas structured complex hedging strategies via the derivatives market. His work initially was concentrated in asset-backed financing structures, but in early 2000 he moved to the derivatives market, and now focusses exclusively on the Latin American energy market. He has held executive positions at the National Bank of Canada, Kleinwort Wasserstein, BoNY Mellon, and CIBC where he structured many transactions for his clients.
